BISHOPVILLE - Join park rangers and campers as they celebrate Halloween with Camp-and-Treat at Lee State Park on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Trick-or-treating will be held as well as a campsite decoration contest in the park campground.

Both campers and visitors are invited to participate in trick-or-treating from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Trick-or-treaters must be 15 or under and are asked to wear a costume and bring a treat container and flashlight.

Parking for visitors will be available alongside the campground on Loop Road.

Campers participating in handing out treats are asked to bring campsite decorations, candy for trick-or-treaters or non-food treats such as spider rings, bouncy balls, pencils, erasers, etc. Campers are asked to be at their campsite from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Campsite judging will begin at 8 p.m., and winners will be announced at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at the Ranger Campsite 1. Two prizes will be awarded: one for campsites 1-25 and another for campsites 26-48. The prize is a free two-night camping stay at next year's Camp-and-Treat. The campsite decorating contest is free with paid camping reservation for 18 and older.
