CHARLES LEVERN HARRIS

Charles LeVern Harris, 74, died on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Arthur Edward Harris Sr. and Virgie Ruth Evans Harris. Mr. Harris was formerly employed by The Item.

Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Annette Wallace (Jack) of Sumter, and five grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Goins, and a brother, Edward Harris.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Brewington Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Hinson officiating.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
