CHARLES REYNOLDS JR.

Charles Reynolds Jr., affectionately called "Bobo" by family and close friends, was born on Nov. 10, 1960, in Harlem Hospital in New York City, New York, to the late Charles Sr. and Ann Richardson Reynolds. Charles died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, in Pompano Beach, Florida. After the death of his mother in 1969, he was raised in Sumter by his paternal Aunt Bertha Alston Willis and Uncle John Willis Jr.

In his youth, Charles faithfully attended St. James United Methodist Church with his Uncle John. Charles was a 1979 graduate of Sumter High School. He was a member of the Air Force Junior ROTC and the Key Club. He furthered his education at Utica College in Utica, New York.

The family will receive friends at Job's Mortuary on Monday from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Hillside Memorial Park, 2561 Cains Mill Road, Sumter, SC 29154, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Bowman officiating, assisted by Elder Cheryl G. Johnson.

In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, there will be no visitation at the home.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
