CHARLES SYLVESTER CARR

COLUMBIA - Charles Sylvester Carr, 94, husband of Rosa Houston Carr, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, at Parkland Nursing Home, Columbia. He was born May 18, 1927, in Davidson, North Carolina, a son of the late George and Bessie Rucker Carr.

Public viewing will be held Saturday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning. Pastor Eddie W. Davis, officiating; Pastor Dr. Amelia Bradshaw, assisting. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the family is not receiving visitors.
