Charleston coroner seeks help identifying deceased man

Charleston County Coroner's Office needs the public's help to identify a young black male who was recovered by the agency in January.

The man's body was recovered from the Cooper River, in the area of Castle Pinckney and Patriots Point, about 9:50 a.m. on Jan. 7, according to the coroner's office.

He is between the ages of 18 and 35, approximately 6 feet tall and 165 pounds.

He has no scars, tattoos, birthmarks, missing teeth nor dental work.
