Cherry the dog deserves a home to call her own

Cherry is a 2-year-old, black-and-white, female Lab mix. Cherry is current on vaccinations and has been spayed. She did test positive for heartworms, so she would need to continue treatment with a vet once adopted. Cherry was very shy when she first came to the shelter but is slowly coming out of her shell more and more. She would need a home with lots of love and patience to help her confidence continue to grow. Cherry seems to get along with other dogs and cats. Cherry loves chew toys and will walk around with them constantly. She has been in the shelter for a little more than a year and is so deserving of a home to call her own.
