Chevy is gentle and loving

Posted

This cutie came to animal control with a long rope attached to his collar. He had broken away and gotten tangled. He hasn't been claimed and is looking for a new home. Chevy, 2-4 years old, is a little skinny at 42 pounds. He doesn't like the confinement of the kennel very much and constantly plays with his bowl and toys. He is very gentle and loving when taken out. Chevy gets very excited to go on his daily walks and waits by the kennel door. He is getting along well with the other dogs. Chevy deserves a better life. He needs a loving family to take care of him and keep him safe. He is heartworm positive and will need treatment and a neuter. As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them. Check Sumter Animal Control on Facebook.
