CHRISTINA BRUNSON CHENNAULT

On Sunday morning, June 21, 2020, God called to eternal rest Christina Brunson Chennault, daughter of the late Kelly Brunson and Naomi Chambers.

Christina was educated in the public schools of Lee County and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. After graduating from high school, Christina moved to Richmond, Virginia, where she resided for many years. She was employed with Phillip Morris for 24 years. Upon retiring from Phillip Morris, Christina returned to Lee County.

Christina leaves to cherish her memories: her four children, Sidney Brunson of Columbia, Wanda Cain of Belmont, North Carolina, Stacy Chennault and Nick Chennault of Richmond; three sisters, Ollie Jordan, Sylvia (Cornell) Andrews and Nancy (Scott) Sweet; two brothers, Willie (Chrissy) Brunson and Ambrose (Sarah) Fleming; six aunts; two uncles; 20 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19, the family is requesting no visitation at the home.

Viewing for family will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and public viewing from 1 to 6 p.m. at John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel, Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter.

Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church Memorial Garden, 510 Manville-Wisacky Road, Bishopville, with Pastor Yancy C. Martin Sr. officiating, eulogist.
