Christmas Holiday Schedule: Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018

BANKS - Synovus Bank and Wells Fargo will close at noon on Monday, Dec. 24, and will reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

SAFE Federal Credit Union will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 22. SAFE will close at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, and will reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

AllSouth Federal Credit Union will close at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, and will reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

The following will close at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, and will reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 26: South State Bank, BB&T, First Citizens, The Citizens Bank and Bank of Clarendon.

GOVERNMENT - The following will be closed Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 24-26: South Carolina state government offices, City of Sumter offices, Sumter County offices, City of Manning offices, Clarendon County offices, Lee County offices; and City of Bishopville offices.

Federal government offices and the U.S. Postal Service will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25.

SCHOOLS - Wilson Hall will be closed today through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, with students returning on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019.

The following will be closed Thursday, Dec. 20, through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, with students returning on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019: Sumter School District, Robert E. Lee Academy, Thomas Sumter Academy and St. Anne and St. Jude Catholic School.

Laurence Manning Academy will observe a teacher work day on Thursday, Dec. 20, and the school will be closed Friday, Dec. 21, through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019. Students return on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019.

Lee County Public Schools will observe a work day on Friday, Dec. 21, and the school will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, through Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019. A work day will be observed on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, with students returning Monday, Jan. 7, 2019.

Clarendon Hall will be closed Friday, Dec. 21, through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, with students returning on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019.

Clarendon School Districts 1, 2 and 3 will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, through Friday, Jan. 4, 2019. Students will return on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019.

Sumter Christian School will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, through Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. Students will return on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019.

UTILITIES - Black River Electric Coop. will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24-25.

FTC will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25.

OTHER - Clemson Extension Service will be closed Monday-Friday, Dec. 24-28.

The Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, through Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019.

The Harvin Clarendon County Library will be closed Saturday-Wednesday, Dec. 22-26.

The Sumter County Library will be closed Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 24-26.

The Sumter Item will close at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, and will reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 26. The Sumter Item will not publish on Christmas Day.
