- Friday, May 10 - A food giveaway will be held from 1 p.m. until supplies last.

Hearts United (formerly Knitting Hearts) at Bethesda Church of God, 2730 Broad St., announces:

- Saturday, May 11, 2024 - The group will meet from 10 a.m. to noon. Angela Kgosana, a South Carolina native and co-founder of The Awakening Movement, a para-church ministry based in Darlington, will speak. In more than 20 years of ministry, Angela and her husband, Ally, have served God in various leadership capacities and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ in South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland and the United States. God has used them to pioneer university campus ministries and organize youth conferences in the townships of South Africa and the United States. Ally and Angela are pastors of Unity Christian Church, Alcolu. Praise and worship will be led by The McKoy Family Band. Admission is free. A love offering will be received. Light refreshments included. Doors open at 9:45 a.m. A pre-service prayer is available for those needing prayer and ministry.
