- Saturday-Sunday, April 27-28 - Family and Friends Weekend will be observed. Saturday's events will begin at 9 a.m. with a workshop led by the Rev. - Saturday, May 11, 2024 - The group will meet from 10 a.m. to noon. Angela Kgosana, a South Carolina native and co-founder of The Awakening Movement, a para-church ministry based in Darlington, will speak. In over 20 years of ministry, Angela and her husband, Ally, have served God in various leadership capacities and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ in South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland and the United States. God has used them to pioneer university campus ministries, organize youth conferences in the townships of South Africa and the United States. Ally and Angela are pastors of Unity Christian Church, Alcolu. Praise and worship will be led by The McKoy Family Band. Admission is free. A love offering will be received.
