Church Women United-Sumter celebrates May Friendship Day

Church Women United of the Greater Sumter area turned out with friends recently for a "Friendship Photo" on the property of the YWCA of the Upper Lowlands Inc. on Church Street in Sumter. May Friendship Day is today (on some calendars, Friday, May 7) and celebrates the gifts of women and expresses the movement's unity in Christ. Church Women United-Sumter unit is a sponsor of Sumter's YWCA and many other local helping agencies. CWU-Sumter invites and welcomes the participation of all area churches seeing the goodness of bringing representative church women together in fellowship, worship and service to the community.
