CLARA BELL JONES

On Friday, June 19, 2020, Clara Bell Thames Jones, widow of the late James Jones, heard her Master's call at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born on Feb. 16, 1946, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Deacon Luther and Victoria Dingle Thames.

Graveside services will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Thames family plot located in the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 4829 Alex Harvin Hwy., Ram Bay Community, Manning, where the pastor, the Rev. Terry R. Johnson Sr., will preside. Apostle Kenneth K. Law, pastor of The Embassy Church, Pooler, Georgia, will bring words of encouragement.

Public viewing will take place this afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. at Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 W. Boyce St.

In accordance with the requirements given by the CDC in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be a visitation at the family residence.
