Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church to host Red Cross blood drive on Sunday

MANNING - Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 105 Dinkins St., is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on Sunday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 6 p.m.

McLeod Health Clarendon blood drive set for Tuesday; all donors receive $20 Visa gift gard

MANNING - McLeod Health Clarendon is hosting a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at 10 E. Hospital St. The blood drive is a partnership with The Blood Connection, the blood provider for McLeod Health.

All donors will receive a $20 Visa gift card.

Face coverings are required while donating. All donors will be screened for COVID-19 antibodies after every completed donation. This is not COVID-19 diagnostic testing. Positive test results do not confirm infection or immunity.

MUSC is hosting free COVID-19 mobile testing sites on Wednesdays in Clarendon County

CLARENDON COUNTY - The Medical University of South Carolina is hold free COVID-19 mobile testing sites at several locations on Wednesdays in Clarendon County in December.

On Dec. 16, MUSC's Free COVID-19 Mobile Testing Clinic will be in Turbeville at Town Hall, 1400 Main St.

On Dec. 23, MUSC will be in the New Zion and Gable communities. Locations have not been chosen yet.

On Dec. 30, MUSC will be in Summerton at Clarendon School District One's Resource Center, 1154 4th St.

Clarendon County residents can visit any of these locations.

These are free clinics. No preregistration or appointment is necessary. If available, please present a valid picture ID and insurance card. Patients must be two years of age, and all patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The results of the tests will be available within seven to 10 days, if not sooner. Please wear a mask.
