Free Easter Egg Hunt set for April 8

MANNING - The Clarendon County Recreation Department is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 10 a.m. April 8 at J.C. Britton Park, 3057 Raccoon Road.

The Easter Egg Hunt is free. Ages will be divided into three categories: age 3 and under on field 2, ages 4-6 on field 3 and ages 7-10 on field 1.

No pre-registration is required. Just show up at 10 a.m. with your basket.

Clarendon Pilot Club to hold Yard Sale April 1

MANNING - The Clarendon Pilot Club will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. until noon on April 1 at 17 E. Rigby St.

Our mission is to influence positive change in communities throughout the world. To do this, we come together in friendship and service, focusing on encouraging brain safety and health and supporting those who care for others.

Recreation Department needs volunteer coaches

MANNING - The Clarendon County Recreation Department needs a few volunteer head coaches for its baseball and softball leagues.

Striped Bass Festival needs volunteers

MANNING - The Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to help sell Striped Bass Festival T-shirts at its office before the festival as well as volunteers to work as a setup crew, T-shirt sales crew and trash collection crew during the festival.

MANNING - The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office is hosting an event recognizing Child Abuse Prevention Month from noon until 2 p.m. April 13 at 215 Commerce St.

City of Manning changes date, time of city council meetings

MANNING - Manning City Council will be meeting at 6 p.m. on every second Tuesday of each month in Council Chambers at 29 W. Boyce St.

The next meeting will be held at 6 p.m. April 11.
