St. John Missionary Baptist Church hosts Midlands Mobile Health Clinic on Feb. 1
PINEWOOD - St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 102 W. Clark St., is hosting Prisma Health's Midlands Mobile Health Clinic from noon until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the church.
No one will be turned away, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Patients age 2 and up are welcome. No appointment is needed. Patients are seen in order of arrival at the clinic. All patients must bring a current picture ID.
Common conditions treated but not limited to: infections including urinary, bladder, ear, sinus, skin and others, bronchitis/pneumonia, colds/flu, cuts, fingernail/toenail injuries, diabetes, hypertension and strep/sore throat.
Historic Liberty Hill AME Church hosts Harvest Hope Food Truck on Feb. 6
SUMMERTON - Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Road, will be hosting the Harvest Hope Food Truck starting at 9:30 a.m.
This event was initially scheduled in January, but due to inclement weather, the event was moved to Feb. 6.
K&H Resource Center is also collaborating with the church for this event.
All in the community are welcome. Food is provided by Harvest Hope Food Bank.
CCRD baseball and softball registration is now open
CLARENDON COUNTY - The Clarendon County Recreation Department has announced that baseball and softball registration is now open in Manning and Turbeville. You can register online at https://clarendon.recdesk.com/Community/Home or in person from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the CCRD office in Manning, 3057 Raccoon Road, or you can register in person from 1 to 5 p.m. at Smith Field in Turbeville, 1380 Gamble St.

MANNING - Harvin Clarendon County Library will be kicking off a community survey to hear your thoughts, ideas and dreams for your library from now until Feb. 14.

Clarendon library hosting Valentine's Day contest
MANNING - You'll always have fun at the Harvin Clarendon County Library.
Visit the library, 215 N. Brooks St., before Monday, Feb. 10, to guess how many chocolate kisses are inside the guessing jar on the front desk. The winner will receive the "kisses" in the jar. Winners will be contacted on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Good luck!
