'Just Chill' to be held through end of July

MANNING - The City of Manning is sponsoring "Just Chill" at parks throughout the city. The next events are at 6 p.m. at Bellwood Park on July 23 and 214 E. Huggins St. on July 30. Everyone is invited to enjoy ice cream and frozen pops.

Paxville CDC hosts Job Fair on Saturday

MANNING - The Paxville Community Development Center is hosting a Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Attendees need to bring copies of their resumes and/or contact information and meet with potential employers.

Back 2 School Gospel Bash set for July 27

MANNING - The youth department at Fresh Fire Christian Life Center is sponsoring a Back 2 School Gospel Bash from 3 to 7 p.m. July 27 at J.C. Britton Park, 3057 Raccoon Road. Featured will be games, a bouncy house and free food. "DJ FloydB" will be playing live Christian music.

National Night Out to be held on Aug. 6

MANNING - National Night Out 2019 will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 6 at J.C. Britton Park, 3057 Raccoon Road. The countywide event is sponsored by Clarendon County law enforcement agencies for "promoting neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership" and to make our communities safer. Food, drinks, activities, book bags and school supplies will be handed out free while supplies last. MUMC hosts Blood Drive on Aug. 9

Back 2 School Bash scheduled for Aug. 17

JCMC - Haven of Rest hosts 1st Annual Golf Tourney on Sept. 14

MANNING - Jordan Crossroads Ministry Center - Haven of Rest is hosting its First Annual Golf Tournament beginning at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at Players Course at Wyboo, 1560 Players Course Drive. The tourney will feature Captain's choice four-person teams. The entry fee is $50 with the check in at 9 a.m. Coffee and a sweet bun will be provided at check in along with a meal following the tournament.
