Clarendon County non-essential offices closed Friday; Harvin Clarendon County Library closed Friday and Saturday

CLARENDON COUNTY – The threat of possible icy weather conditions on Friday has officials throughout Clarendon County closing non-essential offices that day.
Non-safety sensitive employees with Clarendon County, the City of Manning, and the towns of Summerton and Turbeville will not be reporting to work on Friday.
The Harvin Clarendon County Library will be closed on Jan. 21 and 22 due to the potential for hazardous weather conditions. The library will reopen at 9 a.m. Jan. 24.
Firefighters, law enforcement personnel, EMS and, in case of emergency, public works/water department personnel will be working.
Clarendon County offices as well as offices in Manning, Summerton and Turbeville will reopen on Jan. 24.
