Following orders from Gov. Henry McMaster and South Carolina Independent School Association, Clarendon Hall will remain closed for the remainder of the academic year for all on-campus learning, activities and gatherings. All sports activities are also canceled until further notice.

"While our buildings remain closed, instruction and learning continues," Clarendon Hall Head of School Kelley Wannamaker said. "Our teachers are working very hard along with our students and parents. Students must complete and submit assignments to their teachers to remain on track and receive credit for courses."

Kindergarten graduation, awards day and the athletic banquet are postponed and will be rescheduled. School officials are working on plans for senior night and graduation and will make an announcement next week. Clarendon Hall will also be announcing a schedule to allow students to collect any personal items from the campus.

For those who have yet to respond, please turn in your registration forms for the 2020-21 school year. Also, parents are reminded to submit board ballots by May 1. Teachers and staff are monitoring emails and responding, and the school office is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for questions. Due to social distancing guidelines, individuals are asked to call and not visit in person.
