"A Small Town Christmas in Turbeville" on Dec. 14

TURBEVILLE - Enjoy "A Small Town Christmas in Turbeville" from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 14. The town will host its annual Christmas parade along U.S. 301. Folks will be able to enjoy the parade, the tree lighting and perhaps a visit from the little old man from the North Pole.

Drop off Toys through Dec. 15 at litchfield co.-wyboo sales office

MANNING - The Litchfield Co.-Wyboo Sales office, 2538 Players Course Drive, is supporting the Marine Toys for Tots campaign this year and asking communities to join them in bringing Christmas cheer to needy children in the community by donating new, unwrapped toys at their office through Dec. 15. Miss Manning High school to be crowned on Dec. 16

MANNING - The Miss Manning High School pageant will be held at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at Weldon Auditorium, 7 Maple St. Tickets will be available at the door.

Carolina Dance Academy to hold Christmas spectacular on Dec. 19

Summerton to celebrate A Main Street Christmas on Dec. 20

SUMMERTON - Summerton's third-annual A Main Street Christmas will be held from 4:30 p.m. until on Dec. 20. The event, sponsored by Duckfest, will have fun for the whole family. A parade, food, tree lighting, Santa, vendors and "The Grinch 2019," which is rated PG, will be featured. And, back by popular demand is the contest for best-decorated golf cart in the parade. So don't forget to "deck" out those golf carts. The event is free; however food and other activities may cost extra. Seating for "The Grinch 2019" is not provided. Please bring a blanket or chairs so you and your family can enjoy the movie.

Clarendon County Junior Chamber hosts Oyster Roast on Dec. 21

MANNING - The Clarendon County Junior Chamber will host its annual Oyster Roast from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 21 at the National Guard Armory, 2883 Raccoon Road. Tickets are $30 for singles and $50 for couples. All-you-can-eat oysters, Beaufort Stew and perlou rice. Knives will be provided, but please bring your own gloves.
