MLK Memorial Prayer Breakfast is Jan. 19

SUMMERTON - Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Road, will host the MLK Memorial Prayer Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Donations for the breakfast will be $5.

Summerton strikes back with 'Star Wars' event

SUMMERTON - The Force is with the Town of Summerton from noon until 4 p.m. March 2 when "Star Wars" fans of all ages come together to welcome the 501st Legion. The free event will feature "Star Wars" arts and crafts, creative activities, door prizes, face painting, light refreshments and selfies with a Stormtrooper.
