CLEO ANNETTE THOMPSON DUBOSE

Cleo Annette Thompson DuBose, 88, wife of William Allen DuBose, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at Covenant Place.

Born on July 15, 1933, in Alcolu, she was a daughter of the late Hugh Edward Thompson and Caroline McCollum Daniels Thompson. Mrs. DuBose was a member of Crosswell Baptist Church. She loved gardening and spending time tending to her yard.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 65 years; a son, Wil DuBose; a sister, Joyce Link of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Todd DuBose; and 11 siblings.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Crosswell Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Owens officiated. Burial will be at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery at Alcolu.

Pallbearers will be Gene Boyce, Wayne Link, Ken Evans, Steve Andriakos, Kim Seals and Jimmy Thompson.
