CLEOLA A. LENEAU

Cleola A. Leneau, 88, was born on Nov. 25, 1930, in Sumter County, a daughter of the late Clifton and Frances Williams Andrews. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

She received her formal education at the Tindal School of Sumter. She joined Camaster Church at an early age. She was the widow of John Henry Leneau.

She leaves to cherish her memories: five daughters, Viola Richburg, Janet Coleman, Carolyn Leneau, Henrietta Leneau and Evette Leneau, all of Sumter; one son, Leeroy Leneau of Sumter; one brother, Daniel (Betty) Andrews of Sumter; she also reared Barbara Johnson, Mischelle Leneau and Eric Leneau as her own; 29 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, to include Berneatha E. Williams.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 322 Lindley Ave., Sumter.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 805 S. Harvin St., Sumter, with the Rev. Marion H. Newton, pastor, eulogist.

The remains will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. for viewing until time of service.

The funeral procession will leave at 1:20 p.m. from the home.

Burial will be at Bradford Cemetery.
