CLIFTON MCINTOSH
Clifton McIntosh was born on April 1, 1926, in Lee County, a son of the late Olethia Fortune and Henry Scarborough. Only at God's will was he called to eternal rest on Monday, June 10, 2019, at his residence.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Jacqueline McIntosh Josey of Lynchburg; a grandson, Derrick English Josey of Elkridge, Maryland; a great-granddaughter, Eden Halen Josey of Elkridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.
Mr. McIntosh will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. on Monday for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Green Bay Baptist Church, 60 Green Bay Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080, with Pastor T.L. Laws, eulogist, and the Rev. Frank Fortune Jr. presiding. Interment will follow at Sanders Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 5 Thomas St., Lynchburg, SC 29080.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
