CLINTON WARREN PERRY

Clinton Warren Perry, affectionately known as "Clint," was born July 6, 1973, in Sumter, a son of Wilbert and Sarah Perry. He departed this life on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Clinton was educated in the public schools of Sumter County, graduating from Mayewood High School Class of 1992. He later furthered his education at Central Carolina Technical School, earning an associate degree in industrial maintenance. Reared in a Christian home, Clinton was a member of St. Paul AME Church. He was employed at International Paper in Eastover. He was also a member of the Fire Brigade, Top Notch MC and Silver Lodge No. 35.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his fianc e, Latoshia Green of Sumter; three sons, Devonta Green, Trevion Perry and Tayshawn Perry, all of Sumter; two daughters, T'Keyah Perry and T'niyah Perry of Sumter; his parents, Wilbert and Sarah Perry of Sumter; a sister, Winfred Perry of Sumter; four brothers, Wilbert (Pamela) Perry Jr., Stephon (Ronda) Perry, Clayton Perry and Dequandre Perry, all of Sumter; a special niece, Jessica Perry-Sessions of Conway; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Clint was preceded in death by his twin brother, Clayton Perry; his maternal grandparents, Theodore and Isabelle Levy; his paternal grandparents, Jessie Williams and Bernice Perry; and one uncle, George Levy.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Perry will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. on Saturday for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday at St. Paul AME Church, 835 Plowden Mill Road, Sumter, SC 29153 with Pastor Frederick Graves, eulogist, and the Rev. Denzel J. Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul AME Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of his parents, 1650 Robert Perry Road, Sumter, SC 29153.
