Council of Garden Clubs awards scholarship
The Council of Garden Clubs of Sumter Inc. has awarded a $500 scholarship to John Austin Peters, son of Ryan and Angela Peters of Sumter.
John attends Clemson University, where he majors in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Horticulture. His choice of majors allows him to combine his love for the outdoors, plants and creative design.
