Council of Garden Clubs of Sumter announces October's Yards of the Month

The Council of Garden Clubs of Sumter recognizes October's Yards of the Month. The business Yard of the Month is Wilson Hall School. At the corner of Wilson Hall Road and Wise Drive, PTO members have designed a bright and cheerful display of traditional fall elements- pumpkins, chrysanthemums, corn stalks and hay. The front flower bed of the Baxter home at 3101 Pawley's Lane in Sumter's Carolina Palms subdivision is adorned with scarecrows, jack-o-lanterns and brilliant yellow chrysanthemums. Summer's potato vines blend with the autumn colors.
