COLUMBIA - Crestwood High School's varsity football team picked up its first Region IV-4A win of the season on Friday with a 30-23 triumph over Dreher at the DHS field.

The Knights improved 1-2 in region play and 3-4 on the season. The Blue Devils fell to 1-7 overall and 0-3 in the region.

Wardlaw 42

Clarendon Hall 22

JOHNSTON - Clarendon Hall lost their first SCISA 8-man Region II game of the season, falling to Wardlaw Academy 42-22 on Friday at Robinson Field.

The Saints fell to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in region play. Wardlaw advanced to 6-1 and 5-0.

Lower Richland 40

Lakewood 35

HOPKINS - Lakewood remained winless in Region IV-4A with a 40-35 loss to to Lower Richland on Friday at the LR field.

The Gators fell to 0-3 in region play and 2-6 overall. The Diamond Hornets are 3-0 in the region and 4-4 overall.

Lee Central 26

North Central 21

BISHOPVILLE - Lee Central improved to 3-1 in Region IV-2A with a 26-21 victory over North Central on Friday at Stallions Stadium.

LCHS is 5-2 overall, while North Central dropped to 2-5 and 0-3.

East Clarendon 33

Kingstree 12

KINGSTREE - East Clarendon picked up its fifth win of the season with a 33-12 triumph over Kingstree on Friday at the KHS field.

The Wolverines are 5-3 overall and 3-2 in Region VII-2A. Kingstree fell to 1-6 and 1-4.

Robert E. Lee 35

Carolina 28

LAKE CITY - Robert E. Lee Academy got back on the winning track with a 35-28 win over Carolina Academy on Friday at the CA field.

The Cavaliers improved to 8-1 overall. The Bobcats suffered their first loss falling to 7-1.
