JULY 6

The following subject was arrested on July 6 pursuant to a warrant issued on March 11.

Jerrod Carter Jr., 24, of Railroad Avenue in Wedgefield, was charged with first-degree domestic violence, said Deputy Adrienne Sarvis, public information officer for the sheriff's office.

A warrant claims while in the presence of three children, Carter pointed a firearm at a victim's head and threatened to kill her while at a Queen Chapel Road residence in Dalzell on Feb. 29.

JULY 7

The following subject was arrested on July 7 pursuant to a warrant issued on March 4.

Keri Leigh Pritchard, 40, of Alice Drive, was charged with two counts of forgery at a value less than $10,000 with an enhancement, Sarvis said. Charges were enhanced because of prior convictions.

Warrants claim Pritchard presented two checks in a victim's name, both worth $240, at a business in the 4100 block of Wedgefield Road on Jan. 16 and Jan. 25. The checks were previously reported stolen from Clarendon County.

JULY 8

James Ray Pierce, 25, of Confederate Road in Camden, was charged with second-degree burglary, Sarvis said.

A warrant claims Pierce entered a store in the 4200 block of Camden Highway by throwing a brick through the front glass door on the morning of July 8. Once inside, Pierce took a cigarette lighter and a bag of chips.

Pierce turned himself in later that day.

JULY 9

The following subject was arrested on July 9 pursuant to a warrant issued on Oct. 18, 2019.

Matthew Wayne Peterson, 42, of Carolina Avenue, was charged with two counts of receiving stolen goods at a value of $2,000 or less, Sarvis said.
