The Sumter County Sheriff's Office provided information on the following arrests that were made between May 15 and May 22.

MAY 15

DaKwon Donte Myers, 23, of Boulevard Road was arrested on May 15 and charged with third-degree assault and battery by mob, according to Deputy Adrienne Sarvis, public information officer for the sheriff’s office.

A May 12 warrant claims Myers participated in a mob that inflicted injury to a male victim by striking him in the head and throughout the body while on Ridgeway Street on May 6. The victim sustained bruising to the face and required stitches to his head. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Also on May 15, Sydney Lane Papp, 27, of North Main Street, was charged with third-degree domestic violence, Sarvis said.

A warrant from that same day claims Papp assaulted a victim multiple times and bruised the victim during a verbal altercation on May 14.

MAY 19

Derrell Ammon Mosley, 34, of Manning, was charged on May 19 with second-degree domestic violence, Sarvis said.

A March 11 warrant claims Mosley struck a victim in the head and body and choked the victim during a verbal argument on March 10.

MAY 22

Aaron Louis King, 24, of Dalzell, was charged on May 22 with first-degree burglary, Sarvis said.

A warrant from that same day claims King entered a victim’s residence on Birch Court without consent on the night of Feb. 29 and stole and ate approximately $60 worth of food. The victim stated at least two items were also missing from the residence.
