CWU to hold Annual Salad Luncheon Sept. 21 at Aldersgate United Methodist

Sumterites look forward to the only fundraiser that Church Women United of the Sumter Area hold each year, and it's back.

The group's Annual Salad Luncheon returns on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 211 Alice Drive. The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with take-out plates available beginning at noon (drive-thru takeout will be available).

Participating churches are asked to supply one large salad for every five tickets purchased. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.

Proceeds go entirely to local charities including Habitat for Humanity, United Ministries, Emmanuel Soup Kitchen and the YWCA.
