Dalzell man charged with attempted murder

A 22-year-old man from Dalzell has been charged with attempted murder after he reportedly shot a gun into a home in Sumter.

Anfernee Jar'Dell Bradley, of Cannery Road, faces one count of attempted murder and one of discharging a firearm into a dwelling, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office. A warrant states Bradley was at a residence on East Patricia Drive, which is off Manning Avenue a few blocks south of its intersection with U.S. 15 South, on Aug. 13 when he discharged a firearm at or into a dwelling, shooting at a female occupant of the residence.

Bradley was arrested on Aug. 14 and taken to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office Detention Center, where he remained as of Friday.

Inmate records show his bond was denied.

Third Circuit Court public index records show he was sentenced on Friday to 30 days in jail for being found in contempt of magistrate's court.
