DANIEL LEE BROWN
Daniel Lee Brown, 70, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Born May 10, 1954, in Sumter, he was the son of the late Eva Mae Brown. Mr. Brown was an active and faithful member and usher of Grace Baptist Church. He was retired from Pilgrim’s Pride with over 50 years.
Survivors include one brother, Herbert Brown (Deborah) of Roxboro, N.C.; one sister-in-law, Pat Brown, of King, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sumter Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Talmadge Tobias, Charles Bostic, Buddy Wescott, Joel Hodge, E. Y. Turner, Taylor Davis, Perry Morris and Neal Limoges.
Honorary pallbearers will be C. W. Ard and the Rupert Kimbrell Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church.
