DAVID ROBINSON JR.

SUMMERTON - Funeral services for David Robinson Jr. will be held at noon on Friday at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 805 S. Harvin St., Sumter, with Marion H. Newton, pastor, and the Rev. Jose O. Lozano officiating. Interment will follow at Manning Cemetery, Pinewood.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

David was born on April 6, 1946, in Pinewood, to the late Amanda Holland and David Robinson Sr.

He departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, in Summerton.

David leaves to cherish his loving memories: a special friend, Kate Belle; his wife, Lillian Robinson; three sons, Willie Johnson, Dale Robinson and Anthony Williams; two daughters, Yvonne Richardson and Shentilla Lara (Rodrigo); three brothers, Lee Ernest (Edie), Linzey Holland Jr. and David Lee Holland (Vanessa); four sisters, Odie Baines, Rosa Mae (Willie) Capers, Marilyn Holland and Anita West (Ray); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Marilyn Holland, 1870 West Ave., Pinewood.
