Dillon Park, 1305 Clara Louise Kellogg Drive in Sumter, is holding a free Fireworks in the Park show on Saturday, June 29, beginning at 9 p.m., with the fireworks scheduled to shoot off at 9:30 p.m.
"Munnerlyn Pyrotechnics is the fireworks company that's providing them," Sumter Recreation and Parks Department Director Phil Parnell said. "It's a different company than we've used in the past. The show should last around 20 minutes."
There will also be music choreographed with the fireworks show.
Parnell said he wants patrons to know important information about parking.
"Parking is limited inside the park," he said. "We can't use the athletic fields because of irrigation and things like that, so people can't park there."
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to sit on during the show.
