According to a news release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office, Anderson is charged with discharging firearms into a dwelling and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Lynette Williamson Miles, 45, of Tindal Road, was arrested on Dec. 19 and charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon after he allegedly took a cellphone and a wallet containing personal items from a victim while in the 2400 block of Tindal Road the day before. Miles - a convicted felon - allegedly had a firearm during the incident, according to a news release from Sumter County Sheriff's Office.
William K. Childers, 34, of Pearson Road, was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with breaking into motor vehicles after he allegedly broke into multiple vehicles on Dec. 16.
A 32-inch flat-screen LG TV valued at $400, a 15-inch flat-screen Samsung valued at $250 and $60 in cash were reportedly stolen from a residence on Old Pocalla Road about 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 20.
A silver 2001 Chevrolet Silverado valued at $1,000 was reportedly stolen while it was parked on Ramsey Street between 6:40 and 7 a.m. on Dec. 21.
A black Samsung TV valued at $900, a black Vizio TV valued at $1,100, a black RGA TV valued at $550, a black LG TV valued at $400 and a black Toshiba DVD player valued at $65 were reportedly stolen from a residence on U.S. 15 about 4:20 p.m. on Dec. 18.
A white 1996 Ford Windsar van valued at $1,800 was reportedly stolen while it was parked at a business on East Calhoun Street between June and December.
Approximately $6,300 was removed from an account after the victim's credit card was allegedly stolen by an acquaintance, according to an incident report from Sumter Police Department. The victim told officers the credit card may have been stolen while she gave the suspect - a work acquaintance - a ride from Charlotteto Sumter. The corresponding bank has video footage of the suspect using the credit card at an ATM, states the report.
