NEW ZION - Doris Hickson Wilson, 70, died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.
She was born on Feb. 10, 1949, in Florence, a daughter of the late Charles and Elsie Hickson Rose.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Friendship Presbyterian Church, 10123 Black River Road, New Zion, with the Rev. Carnell Hampton, senior pastor, presiding, Elder Darren G. Wilson, son, officiating, and Elder Shelly Hickson and the Rev. Brian Stukes assisting. Burial will follow at Old McFadden Cemetery, Turbeville.
The family is receiving friends at the home of her son, Darren Wilson, 1885 Epps Road, New Zion.
These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
