Dorothy Mae Bennett Myers, 83, widow of James Myers and daughter of the late Wesley Bennett and Rosa Felder Bennett, was born on Sept. 23, 1938, in Sumter. She departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at her residence in Sumter.
Public viewing will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Job's Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at New Bethel Missionary Church with Pastor Willie Wright officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 6416 Cabin Creek Road, Hopkins, SC 29061.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
