Dorothy Mae Bethune Ladson, wife of Frank Ladson, transitioned on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020, at her residence in Sumter.
Born in Silver, she was a daughter of the late Thelmer and Mattie Johnson Bethune.
In accordance with CDC guidelines with regard to the pandemic, the family will not receive visitors but will receive phone calls at the home.
Funeral arrangements are in progress and will be announced by Palmer Memorial Chapel Inc.
