DOROTHY MAE MCBRIDE MCCANTS

SUMMERTON - Dorothy Mae McBride McCants, widow of the Rev. Franklin McCants, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia.

She was a daughter of the late James and Victoria James McBride.

Funeral services for Mrs. McCants will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Spring Hill AME Church, 4309 Bill Davis Road, Summerton, with the Rev. Benjamin Dwight, pastor, presiding, Presiding Elder Eddie L Gadston Jr. officiating and the Rev. Emma J. Mellerson and the Rev. Marie Harvin assisting. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her sister, Catherine Pearson, 2947 William Brunson Road, Summerton.
