Dr. Clinton Burgess, 63, departed this life on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
He was born on Dec. 9, 1958, in Clarendon County, a son Edith Howard Burgess and the late Roland Burgess Sr.
In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting no visitation at the home.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
