Durham was 4-for-5 with five runs batted in and a run scored. Kirkman was 3-for-5 with two RBI and three runs.
Josie Self had a hit and three runs, Kailin Hodge had a hit and two runs, and Anna Lowder had a hit and an RBI.
Self and Durham also had a stolen base.
Emily Jordan went the distance on the mound, striking out three and walking three.
Sumter finishes second
Sumter High School finished second to Blythewood in a 4-team meet on Wednesday at Sumter Memorial Stadium.
Blythewood won with 132 points, while SHS had 84. Cardinal Newman had 21 points and Lakewood had 16.
In the 2-team Region IV-5A meet between Sumter and Blythewood, Blythewood won with 87.50 points to 53.50 for the Lady Gamecocks.
Kayila Green, MacKenzi Zimmerman and Hannah Merchant won the 400-meter dash, the 800 run and the pole vault, respectively. Zimmerman and Greene also ran legs on the winning 4x800 relay team along with Jenna Power and Inayah Lipscomb.
Lakewood's LaShayla Harvin won the high jump.

IRMO - Sumter High School improved to 12-5-1 with a 21-2 win over Irmo on Wednesday at the IHS field.
All 13 players on the SHS roster scored at least one run.
Amanuel Morgan had three hits for the Lady Gamecocks who finished with 16 hits. Kaitlyn Kopp, Autumn Osteen, Madison Long and Olivia Kirkman each had two hits.
IRMO - Jacob Holladay tossed a 3-hit out to lift the Sumter High School baseball team to a 4-0 victory over Irmo on Wednesday at the HIS field.
The right-handed Holladay struck out six batters and walked three to help the Gamecocks improve to 10-7 on the season and 5-5 in Region IV-5A.
Drake Thames and Wylie Coker had two hits apiece to lead the SHS offense. Bryce Lyons and Sebastian DuCom both had a double and a run batted in.
Jackson Hoshour had a hit and scored a run. Thames had an RBI. Tray Yates scored a run as did Landon Jones and Brennan Jones.

Wilson Hall 1
MANNING - Laurence Manning Academy improved to 11-4 overall with an 11-1, 5-inning victory over Wilson Hall on Wednesday at Tucker Belangia Diamond.
Andrew Boyd pitched four shutout innings with five strikeouts to get the win. He also had two of LMA's six hits.
Chase Lee had four RBI for the Swampcats, 6-1 in SCISA Region II-3A, and JT Stanley had a hit and two RBI.
Harrison Hudson had Wilson Hall's lone hit, and he also had an RBI. The Barons are 2-11 overall and 1-5 in region.
Academic Magnet 13
MANNING - Manning High School fell to 0-9 in Region VII-3A with a 13-2 loss to Academic Magnet on Wednesday at Monarch Field.
Trevin Harrison had three of the six hits for the Monarchs, who are 3-13 overall.
Sumter wins meet
Sumter High School won a 4-team meet on Wednesday at Sumter Memorial Stadium.
The Gamecocks won with 108.50 points. Lakewood was second with 57, while Cardinal Newman had 51 and Blythewood 43.50.
In a 2-team Region IV-5A meet, Sumter won with 100 points while Blythewood had 39.
Dylan Vance, Robert Lewis, Theron Bradford, Phillip Newman Ja'Kheem Heyward won individual events for SHS. Vance won the 400-meter dash, Lewis the 800 run, Bradford the 1,600 run, Newman the pole vault and Heyward the long jump.
The 4x100 relay team of Anthony Dinkins-McCall, Melvin Lundy, Robert McKnight and Lodaine Redwood won as did the 4x800 team Christopher Ramirez, Lewis, Antavious Richardson and Jakarriez Sanders.
Malik Richardson won two events for Lakewood, the 100 and 200. Jamal Clea won the high jump and Jamal Anderson the discus.
The 4x400 team of Justin Anderson, Taron Wilson, Malik Richardson and Tre'Varus Davis also won.
