Graveside services for Dwayne Edward Wright will be held at noon on Saturday at Orangehill AME Church Cemetery, 3035 S.C. 261, Wedgefield.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

He was born on Oct. 29, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York, to Edward J. and Louise Oxendine Wright.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Mattie Wright; maternal grandparents, the Rev. William and Azalee Oxendine; and a cousin, Michelle Chapman.

He departed this life on Friday, March 26, 2021, in Brooklyn.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Lavar Jordon Wright; a daughter, Tylicqua Inman; a life friend, Angela Inman; his parents, Edward J. and Louise Oxendine Wright; three sisters, Jacquelyn (Alvoyd) Nicks, Janice T. Potter and Valorie Wright; a brother, Bruce J. (Okeyma) Wright; a grandson, Landon Inman; five aunts; four uncles; and a host of other family and friends.

The family is receiving friends from noon to 8 p.m. at 60 Turnbay Court, Wedgefield. Please use COVID-19 protocols and wear a mask.
