EARLINE MARLEY WOOD
Earline "Bud" Marley Wood, 95, widow of Clifford O. Wood, died on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at a local nursing facility.
She was a daughter of the late Lilburn Hodge Barwick. As a long-time resident of Sumter County, Mrs. Wood was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Pate of Sumter and Linda Carlson (Larry) of Conway; two sisters, Ginger Potter (Dickie) and Audrey Ardis of Paxville; one brother, Billy Barwick (Dorothy) of Paxville; six grandchildren, Doug (Monica), Bruce (Genny), Eric (Lorena), Jeff (Brenda), Glenn LeNoir and Jill Dunn (Mike); 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Herbert C. Pate.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
