Eddie McBride, 74, husband of Lillian Bell McBride and son of the late Sammie Wilson and Geneva McBride Green, was born on Sept. 9, 1949, in Sumter County.  He departed this life on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter.
Interment will follow in Ruby M.B. Simon Cemetery, Gable.
Family will receive friends at the home, 1061 Utah Circle, Sumter.
Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
