EDELTRAUD HASSLER
WEDGEFIELD - Edeltraud Hassler, age 82, beloved wife of John Samuel Hassler, died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at her residence.
Mrs. Hassler was known as a caring person who always showed unconditional love. She made everyone feel special and was known as Oma to many. She was a very pleasant person and had a great sense of humor. She was the glue that held her family together and will be dearly missed by all.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, John Hassler and his wife, Terrie, of Florida, Eric Hassler and his wife, Dee Dee, and Lonnie Hassler and his wife, Jackie, all of Sumter; eight grandchildren, Danielle, Sam, Simon, Leif, Dakota, Eric, Lonnie and Garrett; and 10 great-grandchildren, Devin, Sonny, Lilly, Roman, Stormy, Trystan, Paris, Kaidence, Addison and Corben.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
