BISHOPVILLE - Edward Herman Culp, 73, husband of Sandy Barnes Culp, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at his home.

Born June 5, 1946, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Edward Howard Culp and the late Emma Jean Bofinger Culp. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Hephzibah Bible Church and retired from the Lee County Landfill.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years; three sons, Eddie Culp, Scott Culp (Joy) and Christopher Culp (Jess), all of Punxsutawney; three stepchildren, Gilbert Dwayne Hodge (Lanette) of Louisiana, Rodney Hodge (Vickie) of Manning and Kelly Parrott of Bishopville; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Fort Jackson National Cemetery with the Rev. Timothy Lee officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home, 994 Horse Pen Road, Bishopville.
