Eeyore loves to go for walks and is looking for the right family

Hello, I'm "endearing" Eeyore, your future best friend! I'm a sweet 6-year-old Carolina Dog mix who's heartworm positive, neutered and current on vaccinations. Now that we've gotten the details out of the way, I love to romp around the pen and go for walks (to show off my leash skills), but there are times that I'm just chill. Also, every now and then I tend to defy gravity, so a home with a secure yard and a high fence is a must for me. I seem to get along with most dogs, too. I've got a lot of love to give. I'm just waiting patiently for that right person to share it with.
