ELIZABETH G. TAYLOR

Elizabeth "Peggy" G. Taylor, 93, widow of Robert W. Taylor, died on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at her home.

Born on Aug. 4, 1927, in Hartsville, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Galloway and Lilly Tarte Galloway.  She was a charter member of Crosspoint Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Becky Logan; a granddaughter, Paige Logan Jones (Randy); five great-grandchildren, Cody Logan, Wyatt Jones, Ariel Dieleman, Austin Logan and Caitlyn Wright; six great-great-grandchildren, Carter Dieleman, Rowan Dieleman, Teagan Dieleman, Evie Logan, Emmie Logan and Laelani Logan; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Sims; a granddaughter, Stacy Hall; a brother, Kenneth Galloway; and two sisters, Helen Lloyd and Sybil Thornhill.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Simpson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home.
