ELLA HARRISON EVANS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Ella Harrison Evans, 74, wife of Elbert Evans, died on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019.

She was born on April 15, 1945, in New Zion, a daughter of the late Sarah Harrison Kennedy.

Wake services will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Funeral services for Mrs. Evans will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Howard Chapel AME Church, New Zion, with the Rev. Robert Galloway, pastor. Burial will follow at the churchyard cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her husband, Elbert Evans, 72 Sierra Ave., Kingstree.

These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
